Happy New Year and Happy 2nd Birthday to our little girl! I can't believe she's 2 already! The time goes by so fast yet so slow at the same time. We've loved the last 2 years and look forward to many, many more years with our full family of four!
Brooklyn and Landon play together now...A LOT! I've heard Landon ask Brooklyn several times, "Brooklyn, are we best friends, Brooklyn?" to which she responds with, "Yeah."
These days Landon counts to 100 and makes up his own jokes.

When we asked Brooklyn what she wanted for her 2nd birthday, she would say "pizza." What else would you like? "Cake and ice cream." (She got everything she wanted!) We had a small celebration for Brooklyn's birthday, and she had a great time!
On Brooklyn's birthday we celebrated with a candle in every meal, lots of singing, a few gifts, a walk to the park with cousins Zoe & Lucas and Vova and a hibachi grill dinner with the fam.
Dinner was fun...Brooklyn loved edamame and successfully used her chopsticks (just once, then after many more attempts never again), she was a little unnerved by the big fire but Landon didn't take his eyes off the chef until he left, the kids both got umbrellas in their milk and fistfuls of rice, and Brooklyn got the birthday hat & song.
