Happy birthday to our favorite guy!!! Landon is now 4 years old!
He is 3'5" tall (62%ile) and weighs 36 pounds (49%ile).
We had a birthday celebration at Grammie's house!
On his actual birthday, he wanted a giant stack of pancakes.
Check!
...and to read some books...check!
He opened plenty of presents throughout the day (roller skates from Brooklyn below)...
His favorite was the Nerf gun.
2 smiling and 2 crying...time to go home!
Then a (much needed) nap at home and pizza & cupcakes with the other Kelepouris' (the cousins).
He also got a little party at school. Landon was so excited when Brooklyn brought balloons into the classroom!
The day before his birthday Grammie, Papa and Uncle Matt Matt came to town to watch Landon's soccer game. We decided to go to In N Out and play games at Chuck E Cheese's while they were in town. And Uncle Matt Matt took the kids in the "little pool." What a fun birthday weekend!
Landon loves playing soccer (on his first ever team, the Raptors).
Cousin play
Boys' Day at the Giants (Padres) game with Uncle Peter & Jacob
The girls (plus Luke) spent the day at the Splash Pad!
I've never seen anyone so excited to pack! For our camping trip he gathered 13 pairs of underwear, his nighttime underwear 2 pairs of shorts and a pair of pants...all set! And he was so excited about vacation that he stayed up until midnight...ugh.
Camping at Doheny Beach for a weekend was so much fun! Landon loved racing the waves and Brooklyn loved touching the water. We had a great time with great friends playing in the sand, reading in the tent, jumping on air mattresses, eating s'mores, playing on the shore, surfing on the sand hills, catching up and eating lots!
Uncle B took some pictures of Brooklyn at the beach. He may be the only person in the world who can get her to look at the camera AND smile!

Our new patio furniture (backyard renovation pics to come next month) left behind some very fun forts and castles for the kiddos!
We spent Easter in Mission Viejo again this year, which is always so much fun! Sadly, Landon woke up sick the morning of egg dying and Mission Viejo's Bunny Days, so he did not have as good of a time...but, luckily, he was back in action on Easter morning!
They both love reading so much!
...and helping Daddy.
Bubble day!
On my birthday, Landon came into my room and woke me up (I may have been lying in bed pretending to sleep when I heard the not-so-quiet footsteps running down the hall) with a "Happy birthday, Mommy." He proceeded to "massage" my legs (below picture), said several "I love you, Mommy,"s, give me hugs, kisses, cuddles, snuggles, tickles and made funny faces with me because those are I like best. It was the best beginning to any birthday I've ever had!!
Brooklyn and I love our Girls' Days while Landon is at preschool! Especially Tuesdays, her very most favorite day of the week, because she gets to go to "gymnastips wiff Miss Tena and do peek-a-boos!" I LOVE putting her to bed on Monday nights and getting her up Tuesday morning because I get to ask her if she knows what day it is (what day tomorrow is the night before)...she gets the biggest smile and usually giggles when she explains what's going to happen.
We had a fun day strawberry picking with the Fenwick family after watching our other buddy, Addison's, dance competition and lunch with a group of friends. The strawberries at Ken's Farms were soooo yummy!
Uncle Matt Matt's 4th of July outfit from 1976
Amber and I took the little ones to Imagine Me Grow for a fun morning of pretend play. They loved it!
Brooklyn loves the neighbor's cat, Handsome!
Landon's preschool Easter performance was so much fun to watch! We all got to go see him sing/perform, do the Bunny Hop and an Easter egg hunt.
Landon really enjoyed watching the construction of our patio cover intently.
We had a great month of celebrations!
And we sure enjoy watching these two sweet faces grow, learn, play and enjoy life!!!
