The month of February has been an exciting one in our household. Huh...It turns out that I just posted a couple of weeks ago though (which I initially did not remember doing). So, maybe not so much...Since the last post, here's what we've been up to...DIY newborn-ish photo shoots.
We have had more visitors here to meet little miss Brooklyn and visit with big brother Landon.
Landon has been enjoying the "baby toys" that we've been digging back out.
Brooklyn is already pretty good at tracking with her eyes when she sees something and following the sound of a voice. She is working on holding her head up, and she has smiled at what seems like intentional times as well. We're really looking forward to this happening even more frequently!
She also has drama queen moments, however.
We celebrated Uncle Matt Matt's (my brother) birthday at our house. Grammie (my mom) and Landon even baked Uncle Matt Matt's favorite cookies for him.
Daniel has gone back to work. Luckily, Grammie stayed with us during Daniel's first week back. It has been so nice for us to have her here and to have so much help with the kiddos. I think her favorite parts of the week were burpring Brooklyn (especially while Landon burped her, as seen below) and "cooking" with Landon.
This week will be our first with Daniel and work and me on my own...wish us all luck! Luckily, Landon is fairly independent, and hopefully we will survive the week. He most enjoys cooking / hosting picnics for his favorite people/animals and forts / secrets passages.
Brooklyn has been a wonderful addition to our family, and we so love having a family of four!
She even sleeps well (so far) with just one feeding at night usually. We Kelepouri love our sleep!!! ;-)
Brooklyn weighs 9lbs 9oz (67th percentile) and lays 22.25" long (95th percentile). Not surprisingly, for this family, her head circumference is in the 98th percentile.
