We baked and made cards for the fire station down the street, and they invited us in for a tour. The kids loved it, but, as usual, didn't show huge emotions about it. One fir fighter was trying so hard to wow them, and ended with a "tough crowd."

And back to Grammie's house for even more fun

Auntie Gail, Uncle Fred & Katherine came over to exchange Christmas gifts, go to our annual dinner at Antonucci's and the Irvine Christmas Train.

Daddy had to go back to Temecula right after so he could be at work on Monday, so we stayed a couple of extra days to play with presents at Grammie's!

I met up with volleyball friends (Rochelle, Becky & Jen) and all of our kids for lunch at the mall.

On the 23rd we received the news that Uncle Matt Matt had passed away in Germany, so Daniel packed Christmas and everything up and came back to Mission Viejo to be with us.

We found a grasshopper in the backyard, and Brooklyn tried to catch it.

Daniel took the kids to the park (in PJs) while we had visitors at the house

Santa knew right where to find us, and Daniel picked Papa up from his facility in time for him to watch the kids open their gifts.

BLOOPERS:

First basketball game - waiting for the very loud buzzer

When Landon got back to school after Thanksgiving break, his teacher asked the kids to write about what they did over Thanksgiving break:
After I picked him up from the last day of school before the break we went to the store to grab beer because we were having friends over...we also had to get Jell-O and popsicles for our annual Thanksgiving hospital food...and a week and a half later that's what he remembers! And writes about at school!
