Hi Friends and Family,
Although we have probably already showered you with pictures and our news, we would like to introduce the newest member of our little Kelepouris family, Landon Gregory Kelepouris.
After 9 months (and a 9-day bonus) and much anticipation (as well as false alarms), Daniel and I welcomed Landon on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2013 at 5:27pm (although he didn't have a name until Wednesday) . He weighed in at 8lb 2.5oz, was 21" long and had a large head circumference (Daniel and I are convinced that it must have been partially due to a large brain and not solely from the conehead).
Everything in the hospital went pretty well, and our little guy was very healthy from the start! He was so alert from the very beginning, with eyes wide open and looking around all of the time. The hospital staff even allowed us to take him home after 2 nights without parental tests of any sorts - yikes! We were welcomed home with baby decor on our front yard (and have since met neighbors because of it!) - what a fun surprise from great friends!
We are thrilled and think that he is just adorable (no bias whatsoever)! More to come about our first month at home shortly (since we're already behind)...

He hardly ever closed his eyes the first day. |

Notice the hands up by the face, just like in the ultrasound. (2 days old) |
