We were on vacation for most of this month, but before that we did some fun stuff! The Kelepouris boys got haircuts together to prepare for our impending trip.
We played at the Rogers' house.
We made a new treat for Family Meeting - a healthy banana split! Later, Daniel and the kids watched the Warrior game with lollipops in our bed.
We played on the way home from school, and Landon played basketball with neighbor, Aiden, a whole bunch at the end of the school year.
We had an end-of-the-school-year party with some kinder buddies (Sophia, Tristan, Dalton, Jacqueline & Christian and their little siblings Celse & Cavali) during the last week. At school each day was a fun theme (PJ Day, (Board) Game Day, Arts & Crafts Day, Field Day)!
And we celebrated both of their last day of school!
There are some big changes from the first to last days of this school year!
Landon said goodbye to his Kindergarden buddies and teacher.

Mrs. Eventov sent us home with Landon's report card & her comments, which were both something to be very proud of!
Brooklyn participated in a performance on her last day.
Last day of Preschool, on to Pre-K (second year of preschool at Giggles & Gluesticks)!
These 3 played together every day!

Her teachers made books for each child. I LOVED seeing the differences in her writing, drawing and answers to questions between the beginning of the school year and the end!

Ms. Jen & Ms. Cyndi |
Ms. Jen gave Brooklyn a set of press-on nails as a summer gift (because Brooklyn brought the press-ons the Easter Bunny gave her to school as her "share" on her "special day" one time, and, apparently, it was the biggest hit with ALL of the kids)!
2 days after school ended, we headed to our almost 3 week trip to Greece & Canada. The day after we returned home we got right back into fun stuff! Landon & Brooklyn played with Aiden, then Landon and I went to a birthday party for his school friend, Jacqueline while Brooklyn and Daniel watched a movie at home. The next day we celebrated Father's Day with breakfast (he got out of bed too early though), the kids' gifts for him and some Old Maid.
We spent some time in the pool (and dressed for the week of 4th of July - Even though we didn't go to SLO until mid-way through the week, we had more than enough attire to dress in red, white & blue everyday, with at least 1 wardrobe change each day!). Daniel started Brooklyn's first swim lesson on the 30th (and continued July 1 and 2). She went from screaming and crying in the beginning of the first day to doing GREAT 20 minutes in. She's really starting to get the hang of it quickly!!
And, like that, the month was over and we were in SLO!
